Listing rules

These rules govern listings of animals on the BreedManager listings page (breedmanager.eu/…/puppies/). They supplement the Terms of service, which apply to anything not covered here. The provider is Kynologic Sp. z o.o., ul. Półwiejska 17/26, 61-888 Poznań, Poland, KRS 0001066149, NIP 7831890477.

1. Who may publish

  1. Listings are published by kennels with an account in the Pro plan (up to 3 active listings) or Kennel+ (unlimited).
  2. Listings of animals may be published only by kennels registered with a dog or cat breeding association (e.g. FCI member clubs, FIFe, WCF, TICA) that have given their affix, association and membership or kennel registration number. This information must be true and up to date.
  3. The first listing of each kennel is checked by the Provider before publication. After a positive check the kennel is marked “Verified kennel” and further listings go online without prior review.
  4. Before publishing each listing the advertiser accepts these rules.

2. Content

  1. A listing must concern a specific animal, litter or planned litter of the advertiser's kennel and comply with the law, in particular animal welfare and animal identification law, and the rules of the kennel's association.
  2. The description, photos, parents' details, health test results and price must be accurate. Photos must show the animals concerned or their parents.
  3. Forbidden: animals from unregistered breeders (“puppy farms”), animals without the required pedigree documents or identification, stolen animals or animals from an illegal source, sick animals without honest information on their health, and misleading or offensive listings, listings with third parties' personal data or advertising other services.
  4. Puppies and kittens may be handed over no earlier than the law and the association's rules allow — as a rule not before 8 weeks of age (kittens: 12 weeks), vaccinated and dewormed according to age.
  5. The advertiser is responsible for the content of the listing and for having the right to publish its photos.

3. Duration

  1. A listing is active for 60 days. 5 days before it ends the advertiser receives an e-mail reminder and can extend it by another 60 days.
  2. The advertiser may pause, change or close a listing at any time. A listing of an animal ends automatically when the animal is marked as sold or leaves the kennel in the service; the number of available puppies in a litter listing follows the puppies' status in the service.
  3. The advertiser should update the listing without delay after a reservation or sale.

4. Contact and the sale

  1. Interested people contact the advertiser through the form on the listing; the message goes to the kennel's inquiries in the service and to its e-mail.
  2. The sale contract is concluded directly between the advertiser and the buyer. The Provider is not a party to it, does not handle payments, takes no commission and is not liable for its performance, the animal's health or the accuracy of information given by the parties.
  3. Advertisers acting as traders fulfil the obligations of consumer protection law towards consumer buyers.
  4. We recommend buyers to collect the animal in person at the kennel, sign a written contract, not to pay a deposit before signing it and to check the kennel with its association. We never ask for payments for animals through the service.

5. Featured listings and statistics

In the Kennel+ plan listings are shown higher in the list and on the home page (“Featured”), the kennel sees views and inquiries and can offer the description in other languages. Other listings are ordered by publication date. The Provider charges no other fees for the position of a listing.

6. Reports and moderation

  1. Anyone can report a listing that breaks the law or these rules with the “Report a violation of the terms” button on the listing or by writing to info@breedmanager.eu.
  2. The Provider handles reports without undue delay and diligently. It may pause, hide or remove a listing and, for repeated or serious violations, block publishing or the account.
  3. The Provider informs the advertiser of the decision by e-mail with a statement of reasons, and the reporter if they left an e-mail. The advertiser may appeal within 14 days by replying to that message; we decide on appeals within 14 days (Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 — Digital Services Act).

7. Personal data

Data from the contact form (name, e-mail, phone, message) is passed to the advertiser with the sender's consent so that they can reply; from then on the advertiser is its controller. Details in the Privacy policy.

8. Changes

We inform advertisers of changes to these rules by e-mail at least 14 days before they take effect; until then the previous version applies. The current version is shown at the bottom of this document.
