Lost pet: poster and microchip

A “Lost” poster with a QR code and the DogWorldBase registry.

When a pet goes missing, time matters. Prepare in advance — it takes two minutes.

Microchip in a registry

Any vet or shelter can read the microchip — but it has to be registered. On the animal's page the Register the microchip in DogWorldBase button carries the animal's details to the form of the international registry; payment and the entry are made in DogWorldBase. Your details are not public there.

“Lost” poster

On the animal's page click “Lost” poster. Choose a photo of the animal alone (no people, face clearly visible), enter the date, place, appearance, collar, character and phone number. You get an A4 page to print or save as PDF.

If the animal's public profile is on, the poster has a QR code — the finder sees more photos. We do not save the poster or the phone number.

What else to do

Report the missing pet to nearby shelters and vets, ask neighbours to check basements and garages, put up posters and share the profile in local groups.
